We have set rates for projects meeting a certain criteria (such as a purely static website). Generally, static websites do not require a great amount of fine-tuning. A dynamic website requires additional configuration from the start, in order to ensure that your dynamic site, such as a content management system stays running.

Generally however, simply because of their nature, a static site will take less time to produce than a site which operates with dynamic systems.
